Description
The main goal of the RENFE Partial Plan was to rejoin the north and the centre of the city, which were separated by the railway line and the facilities linked to it.To achieve this, the train tracks as it passed through the city were located underground. A tunnel of an approximate length of 3,700 m was built for this purpose. This allowed the development of a large pedestrian avenue on its surface, which culminates at one of its ends in front of the new station.The new land made available by the project was used to built a mainly residential new area .
