Description
Green Point Urban Park is part of the 2010 World Cup legacy that promoted a series of improvements in the urban fabric of the city. Within the park, an area of 12,5 hectares stands out for the renaturalization of the environment and the inclusion of biodiversity being the main design argument. The quality of the project resides both in its effort to include and protect the local flora, as well as in its interest in the hybridization of this unique natural landscape with art, leisure, sports, coexistence of human and non human species and their well being, or innovative water and energy management among others, understanding the ecosystemic value of the whole.
