Description
This building for the Mare de Déu de la Vallivana boarding school is marked by its location on the side of a hill. The exterior space, formed by a system of ramps and small squares, stitches together the programme by establishing routes that bridge the slope. The classrooms are resolved with several narrow, concatenated volumes, while the residential programme is resolved with another series of trapezoidal zig-zag volumes. The architectural path is organised in a descending manner until it converges in a common multi-purpose space that collects the flows.
