Description
This project is part of the Qingpu Pinghe International School in Shanghai. Light and weightless in appearance, the building comprises two round-edged volumes raised above a transparent ground floor. The first large volume houses the school’s gym, with bamboo-clad interiors, while the smaller volume includes the swimming pool. Both spaces are lit from above, providing the rooms with even illumination. The building is located next to the secondary entrance to the school, which makes it easy for external users to access during the holiday period.
